When girls say on their myspace "ima bItCh and proud!"
or when they name a certain character flaw that they seem to be proud of.

it doesnt really bother me but it makes me wonder why people would openly admit that they enjoy being a bitch and then these same girls are the ones who post bulitens and blogs about how they will never find love ever in life?

QUOTE
-i am a a-hole
not a bitch
-there is a difference as being a bitch i find bland and kinda overdone kinda like fergie's whole solo career

thats on mine but i was kidding and making fun of the overlydone bitch pride people that i seem to have a nack of adding on myspace or aka my friends.

so i was just wondering if anyone noticed or thought the same thing about that?

^I agree, I find it kind of odd when they sit there and blantly call themselves a bitch though, I don't think I would ever really be that open about it. I suppose if they want to give others a fair warning thats pretty nice of them.

I think some people are sarcastic when they post things like that. But when you're just reading what they write it's hard to tell if they're serious of not... esspecially if you don't know them. I have some flaws posted in my About Me on myspace, but it's not like I'm saying "I'm a bitch". I posted that I'm shy... if that counts as a flaw -shrugs- I just did that so people who don't know me well know that. So, if it's someone from school who doesn't see me or if it's someone who IMs me.

I've come across those. Some people that I know of, they're so open about calling themselves bitches online, but in person, when someone calls them a bitch, they're all like "what did you just call me?!"

that.

Yup. Insecurity is a big part of being a teenager. With the whole "bitch pride" thing, the thought process is that there's nothing to attack if they exalt even their flaws.

It doesn't bother me, I just add them to my neverending list of really stupid people.

However, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this, really Possibly because I don't use myspace.
