I know it's a problem dealing with sea levels rising (global warming) but weather-wise, why is it bad? I love the warm weather. I'd rather sweat, drink a lot of water than shiver my ass off rocking a thick north face parka over a sweater. It's good to have warm weather, it prevents people from getting sick. No Snow = No problem. It wouldn't cause any controversies on the streets either. More cos.

Because over here in Boston, it's supposed to be around 20-30 degrees farenheit, and what is it now? 60's. I hate it, I'm more of a wintery person and I love the cold. I hate heat. I love the shivering and snowyness. Spring and summer can never exist. Ever.

yes, yes. that glaciers up north (or..south i guess) are melting as well. which like you said, causes sea levels to rise. if this keeps occuring, the living animals and such will probablt die off. then we'll just end up drowning to death.

im not complaining, though. it's only 40 ish here. but, upper 40's is normal for kansas weather.

It is completely ignorant and small minded to think that global warming is just about a little warmth. Perhaps you should take a science class and learn about the greenhouse effect and whatnot.

I LOVE winter though, thats why I hated the fact that it didn't really even get under 40 degrees that much.

I think it's the expectation... With winter comes snow, and it's just not as wintery without snow.

I live in North Dakota, and we had barely any snow this year... It was almost like not having Christmas.

I'm actually happy that I was in Tulsa for the better part of December, because I did get to catch the heavy snow when it hit. That's one disadvantage of living in the south, when it snows it rarely sticks and doesn't last long.

I do prefer the colder weather - during this time, it's supposed to feel like the holiday season (that sounds cheesy, I know). All the things that go along with cold weather, like thick pajamas, warm beverages, and even winter clothes (I like bundling up to go outside!) make freezing to death on the walk from the front door to the car worthwile. :P
