I like the image/banner/background; however, I think it could use a bit more blending in the middle there.
 ^ The rounded corners could be a teensy weensy smoother, BUT as I said, I really like the image and and and the colors are pleasing to the eyes. It's misaligned on Firefox, though.

Very pretty image! I like the idea!
 And as Kathleen said, the rounded corners could be a bit smoother, and it's definately mis-aligned in Firefox as previously stated.
