Scrolling Comments Options

I have my comments in a sized box in my div, and the comments are so large that I have to scroll to the right. I've tried doing the overflow-x: hidden, but of course that didn't work. I guess I want something that will compress the comments... Any suggestions?

because of those pictures posted by " (¨*·.¸ Salt¸.·*¨), Sarah-Ann , J. BAILEY 808 etc."
i suggest you delete those comments.

I messed around with the code, changed some of the font to a smaller size and it finally worked! YaY!! Thank you!! Whew!

i had no idea where to put this code.. i tried putting it
inside of the 'div' that i want the comments to be in...
that didn't work.

i tried putting it underneath where all the main code is
at the top, that didn't work.

i tried putting it underneath the settings for the 'div'
where i want it to be, and that didn't work either..

what am i doing wrong?

Just a note don't put codes in style tags in divs. Just paste them in sections like about me, etc. Like above said. Also that code may not work for you, if it doesn't , you can make a topic and explain exactly what your problem is, if it is a little different.

Ah ok. Yea well for band profiles hmm...try the codes provided here. Those should work on music profiles, I used them before in a div I had to attempt there.

aw, man... it didn't work.

in fact, it made it worse. it took away
my player somehow. and didn't add
a comment table at all.

now my player won't come back! all
i did was take away the code i put on
there, i swear... oh lord. back to the
drawing board.

i may have to work on this at great

Are you talking about the huge player? Most of the divs I've seen for music profiles just hide that and get their own flash player. Once you add your comments you may need to edit your profile around to fit that code. I've used the code there before it didn't do much damage on the artist profile I worked on.

Double check you used the ones for band profiles and not profile ones.


But I'll see if I find another code/tutorial for it.

the huge player was there.

and i used a code for bands... a girl who
had a div overlay for her band gave me
her code for keeping the player.

i even had it positioned where i needed it.

here is a screenshot of what it looked like:



it looked like this until i added the comment
code - but when i took the comment code
away (not touching anything else), the player
went away!

Did your comments show at all? I don't have a test music profile so I can't play around with the code sorry. Also her layout is generated from the bbz generator. The have an option to have comments added, and she must have not chosen that option.

Which is why you are having problems with it. Remove this I don't think you need it:

the comments still aren't there.

the player is still gone.

i am using a practice music page right now.

it's actually a music page that i use for some
solo music work.. so if the player shows up,
it will be different music... which is fine.

as soon as i put the code on my real music
page, the proper player will appear in its place.

i hope that (above) made sense.

anyway - i know it seems risky, but do you
think i could give you my username & password?

OR - would you like for me to set up a music
page for you & upload a few hoax songs so a
player appears... and maybe add myself as a
friend + a comment so the comments will appear?

that way you could test these things?
