Christ the Lord Out of Egypt, by Anne Rice Options

So i've just begun this book i'm 1/6 through the book. And i must say its an amazing book. I thought maybe it was going to be all biblical and stuff but I mean it isn't.Like you could read this book and think that it was a story and not realize that the character Jesus is the same as the one that Christians believe in. I mean don't get me wrong there is biblical things included, but it's like a story.

It's basically a story filling in the gap of when Jesus returns to Nazareth & Jersulem from Egypt, and his search in realizing who he is and his purpose. So yes you must know some background in the story of Jesus, but just in case you haven't it is explained in the book.

Anne Rice is a wonderful author (so I've heard) and this is the first book that I have read. SO yeah just wanted to share info of a wonderful book, Has anyone read it? i think it's fairly new.
