I think there was a text problem that someone on cb mentioned but i cant find which thread it was in. But on my new 6.0 aim and the new i.e. 7 the text is like different colors around the edges and it looks weird other than firefox its clear. the solution was smoothing something. i dunno can anyone help me, this is why i dont like using IE cause its this blurry.
here are pictures this is aim.  this is internet explorer... its verry blurry and not sharp like aim  and here is firefox which is pretty clear.

Hahaha. Same thing happens to me whenever I use IE! I don't know the techinicalities behind it but that's how IE works. =\ Perhaps it was like this in earlier versions but I noticed the change after updating to IE7.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia.
Under there, it should say 'Always use ClearType for HTML*'. Check that off. It doesn't always work because I have that checked off and it's still really blurry.

^I just tried that. Turns out I already had it checked. It's still blurry as you said but the characters are darker and more distinct than what's visible in the screenshot. =\

yea it already is checked off.
this sucks though cant they see a difference and have a patch sent out? right now im using my old aim. cause it really hurts my eyes. lol |
