So here's the thing. My sister's 27 and i'm 15. I never really bonded with her like other sisters did because of the obvious age gap. I'm starting to think that it's maybe time to bond with her like that. I couldn't before because..maybe I wasn't mature enough to understand everything she did. Better late than never, right? Anyhow, I'm kind of apprehensive about this since she might tell my parents about what really happens in my life and how I feel. It's not that I don't want my parents to know (I don't care if they know) - I'm just afraid that they won't understand. (Don't even tell me that they do.) I'd like to talk to her and get to know her a little better as a sister and a friend, but I'm not exactly sure as to how to do this. She'd always come visit and joke around by asking me if I had a boyfriend and I'd always say no...yada yada. She reads my xanga sometimes [and I don't exactly like that idea, but I deal] and I found hers. She doesn't write much, but I found her boyfriend's too. He seems to write a lot about their relationship so I skimmed through it. She's had quite a few boyfriends, but I never really asked about them. It wasn't really any of my business. It seems like she's ending another relationship (6 month) and tearing the guy apart. It sure does sound like something I'd go through. I think I'm a lot like my sister when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex. I'd like the sisterly advice and whatnot. Well anyway, sorry for going into a ramble. I guess all I really want to know is how to spark it. Should I email her? Talk to her in person? Just...randomly bring it up?
