So my ex breaks off our relationship saying "I hope I never see you again"
The day after, he goes to my work for a good half hour, passing my register back and forth. Doesnt buy anything, and leaves. And he's been doing this everyday for 3 weeks now, and constantly gives me glances. Wtf? |

Maybe he regrets saying that to you and wants to say something to you but just can't muster up the strength to admit he was wrong. Not to sound mean, but a lot of guys (and people in general) have a problem admitting that they were wrong. I would suggest to just ignore it, esspecially if he's giving you mean glances. If it persists talk to him about it. Make him understand that's your relationship with him is over and in the past. I would suggest being blunt and strong (as in not saying "oh you really hurt me" blah blah blah). If you tell him to stop hanging around and he still does, tell your manager where you work and I'm sure they'll find a way to get him to leave.

Yeah, I totally agree. It's just that, what he gives me aren't mean glances. They're like glances that say, "Oh" with raised eyebrows.

Yeah, maybe he just needs to tell you something. I say maybe you should just talk to him and give him the opportunity to tell you what's on his mind. It doesn't mean that you're getting back together or anything, just finally putting it to rest and then he doesn't have any regrets about anything. So cheesey

He probably does need to tell you something but doesn't know how to go about it, since he did tell you to go away in such a harsh way. He doesn't know how to apologize and redeem himself. You could report his behavior to your manager. Aside from that, just ask him "Do you need any help?" the next time he comes around your register and clear whatever it is up.

Maybe I should. I saw him today, too. He went to my work again, and we ended up crossing paths, I knew he looked at me, so when I looked at him, he looked away. He stayed there for a good half hour, doesnt buy anything again, then leaves.
Tomorrow's our birthday. (Yes, we have the same birthday lol) I wonder what he'll do lol |

He just wants your attention or wants you to notice him. If he still does this, just go up to him and ask him why. He'll probably tell you something stupid to 'cover up' but whatever. If your over him, then just ignore him. He'll get the picture sometime.
Or you could be like "Sorry sir. No loitering." Just kidding?

maybe he is a stalker, or just plain weird, has something to say, or just misses me. whatever it is, i'll wait it out maybe. I'm afraid to approach him, since I want him to get the idea that what he said to me hurt alot, and that if anyone's gonna approach anyone, it should be him. more feedback would be great though :D |

Ok if you want this to end, just straight up come up & ask him what needs help with(pretend as if he is ACTUALLY looking for a product whatever) & if he tries to go along with it,let him. Pretend he is in control & if he says something outside shopping(I don't know what he could say but just be prepared for it) just avoid the subject & keep doing your job. get his "item" if there is any or if not, just tell him that you're out of stock & walk away. Its a scenario you can try.
