As finals draw near and finish up, many college students, including myself, are returning their textbooks used during their 1st semester to get a portion of their money back. I spent about $420 and got $126.50 back with a pretty nice razor. But the amount of you spend for college textbooks are ridiculous

I don't even know how much I spend. This year I had to have spent $300-400. I don't get money back because I keep my books just in case I'll need them for another year. I will be selling them after I graduate.

Wow, for an art college, I would expect you to spend way more! Yeah, I thought so too when I transferred here. All my money goes on art supplies though. For this quarter the total amount I spent on art supplies (tons of paint, brushes, matte boards, varies glues, etc.) was over $400. |

Wow. I paid $600+ and didn't get anything and I doubt I'm going to. Grrr. With around 70,000 students, I can see why that would be difficult for my school.
The only way I can get some money back is if I sell them to other students, but I'll have to wait till next school year for full year course texts. |
