The iPod Video plays videos and has more memory.
The Samsung K5 has a lot less memory, but has speakers, a longer battery life, speakers, and an FM tuner. I think basically comes down to how much memory you want even though the Samsung K5 has a lot more features.. Because that's pretty much the most important part when buying an MP3 player. If you were to store only music on there, how many songs would you want to put? |

The iPod will hold more, but the Samsung is probably safer for your ears (earbuds=bad).
so if you get the iPod, I'd suggest getting earbuds that block out sound, or get headphones. That samsung is pretty spiffy though. |

Then get the Samsung K5.
You don't need that much memory space for songs, so go for the one with more features! |

I'd go with the Samsung for sound quality.

To be honest though, I don't like the K5, neither do I like Samsung MP3 players, though I prefer them over the iPod.
