background image scrolling in DIV layers (help please) Options

So here's my problem, I'm trying to update my myspace with div layering. Everything's all fine except for the background-image function within the div class definition (is that the correct terminology?).

So here's the deal:

why does the "background-attachment: fixed"

element display differently in IE then in Firefox? Is there a way to remedy this?

See what I'm trying to do is get a div 'box' to scroll with an image in the background that stays in a fixed position, but I can't seem to get it to work in both display browsers.

Help-- please??
