i've been following the step by step layout tutorial and i am not having any success with my content boxes.

here is what my myspace layout looks like so far. of course it's no where near what i want it to look like.
this is my my photoshop work of what i would want it to somewhat look like.
this layout that someone else did, diamond DIV, i would like for it to somewhat look like this: simple but clean.

how can i get the content boxes to where i want it to be? how can i get the boxes to not have sharp edges but hip with a little soft round edges or something like that?

thanks a bunch!! biggrin.gif

For one you have to actually hide you profile. The code is in scripts. Then you need to get the div codes from the div tutorial and use that . Read the tutorial Holly (infinite) wrote. Everything you need to know is there.

"if you wouldn't like comments to show use this code to hide your profile.
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...d=2188843" this is the link i used to hide my profile that i got from the tutorial that "infinite" posted.

i was following her tutorial to the T but still no success. do you need to see what codes i have posted in my "about me" and "i'd like to meet"?

i was also having no success with my background also. i had to make a whole new background because in the CSS it asks for a background URL. but at the same time, the tutorial gives you a totally different code to post for just your background info. why is that?

HELP!!!!! sad.gif

Your boxes are showing so whats the problem?
Whats the backgorund problem? The tutorial does not do it for you. You have to take the css and then add your own background colors.

Post the codes and explain it a little more.

after awhile of searching, i've figured out how to fix it but it was through another website. the only problem is that the whole process is very tedious. thanks a lot for your help though. once it's complete i will post it, and hopefully some will like it. THANKS AGAIN!!! thumbsup.gif
