One of the guys? Girls?, Needing some outside help Options

So there's this one guy in my math class who I have a crush on. Fun fun.
I sat by him one day and we started talking. Turns out we have the exact same interests in music and multiple times we've jinxed eachother (like, someone asked us what band they should listen to out of the three, we both said the same one).
He'll steal my glasses and wear 'em all class, choose songs on my ipod, move the hair out of my face. In the hallway he stops by me and my friends and talks for a sec, along with doing things like shoving me into vending machins...But other times he just ignores me and listens to his music completely. Now, he mentioned he had a girlfriend once, but we don't really talk about that. We talk about his band and random things we both like, but I'd feel awkward randomly asking "hey, got a girlfriend?"
I'm just not sure if it's pointless flirting, if I'm one of the guys, or if maybe there's some potential for me.
Any input?
