What about the people who choose to jump out of buildings instead or burning to death? (Like from the twin towers in the terrorist attack on 9/11)

Or what about people who have chemical problems? Their brains are messing them up so they commit suicide.

What about people who die from drug overdoses? They did it to themselves but I'm sure they didn't mean it.

What's going to happen. I'd love to hear other religions opinions on this.

In my opinion suicide is suicide. We're not even sure if there really is a heaven or a hell. To me if you die, you die end of story. I guess if you want to die quickly than to die slowly is a reasonable excuse but it's not a good one.

But you know if I believed 100% in God and that dying the hard way leads you to heaven, then I'll choose that over suicide. If God wants me to stay on earth and burn in earth, then I'll do so. Some people doubt the justice behind it cuz pain is NOT easy but like I said it depends on your faith if you 100% believed in it.

If you're Catholic and you commit suicide, they say that you go to hell, right?
I think that's what happened in Constantine.

I'm sorta atheist. I don't believe in a heaven or hell.

Isn't that how everyone is nowadays? Either atheist or agnostic.

Nah, I'm a Christian. I wouldn't label those situations as suicide though; they really didn't have any other choice.

No, because there is no heaven or hell. You can't be sent to a place that doesn't exist by an entity that doesn't exist.

Yeah, I'm a Christian too. I guess there are exceptions; situations where you can't help what the outcome is. I dunno. shrug.gif

I'm not religious, but don't some religions teach that suicide means that you're taking life for granted?
I dunno.
Maybe life is about having hope in something and in these cases, the person loses hope in everything and decides to kill him/herself. I guess losing hope is what causes you to go to hell?
Again, I'm not religious. I'm just looking at this from a different viewpoint.

To religious people, suicide means not only taking your life for granted but it's like spitting at God's face and saying, "f**k you for giving me life."

and if I were the person's mom I'd be so pissed off...

Jumping off the roof, they probably asked for forgiveness all the way down.

Chemical problems? Well, a person still has the sense of choice. It takes a lot of thought to commit suicide.

People who die from over dose? Hmm. We'll they died in the worship of a substance, and not in the worship of God, or 'insert religion here'.

idk. when i was going to commit suicide though i was really really nervous about what god would say to me when (if) i got to heaven like if he would make fun of me (XD.gif)

personally i think heaven and hell were created just to keep us inline. like for example i was going to commit suicide but i was afraid of god. people really want to kill someone but they are afraid of god. just my opinion.
