People are getting dumber nowadays.
I find it quite sad. Some people in my English class thought Denmark was a city in Cali. Some girl thought my boyfriend was black and you could tell that he was 100% Asian... Some girl in my Calc class does not how to multiply..how she made it to Calc I would never know. I find that quite pathetic that people who are juniors and seniors in high school are extremly stupid..It makes me want to laugh. Do you laugh at the stupidity and ignorance of others Do you find it quite pathetic |

It doesn't matter. People are raised differently in various environments. I have to tutor juniors and seniors in Algebra1, and what can I do if they don't know how to subtract negatives? Maybe their parents were never given the opportunity to learn these things.
But yeah, it is sad and pathetic. PLUS dumb people = better curve for the rest of us

 Why would I be laughing, did I seem like I was happy, or trying to be "trivial"? It's snobby bitches that think they're all smart, thats the only thing I was trying to point out. Just because there are smart people doesn't mean you have to f**king point and laugh at the people below you. What about people that are stupid, there are lazy people and there are people that are just incapable of learning some complex things. Just because they can't retain all that information doesn't mean you SHOULD POINT AND LAUGH. WHY DON"T YOU HELP THEM????? DON'T THINK YOUR BETTER THAN THEM. AND DONT CALL ME A MORON, Just because i don't have a "plethora" of vocab words stuck in my head. |

I was nearly sharing the sentiment in your own post. Buuuuuut, alright?  "Aforementioned", gotta remember that. Although, you have revealed a bit more of your position here, and I don't exactly agree with you. I find laziness of the mind rather contemptible. Further, I'm not expecting everyone to learn the in's and out's of stellar evolution and astrophysics. I'm just expecting everyone, who isn't mentally handicapped, to express a level of intellectual curiosity and integrity. I want people to be able to think. Ask questions. Honestly search for answers. Sorry i bursted out in anger, but i do get what you are saying. But there are lazy people out there, people that have set very low goals and think that their life is going to be working at mcdonalds for the rest of their life. So they choose not to go to school. They just have no more will, no more spirit to think for themselves, therefore they do not better themselves and ask those questions.
