We had sex ed in fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. I think are community is parnoid. Acutally, I got out of it in eighth cause I was sick of learning the same thing over and over again.

i had sex ed in 5th grade and didnt get my period until 9th. yea....i understood everything long before I had to.

I had gender separated education in 4th and 5th grade. We learned about the changes for our own gender. In 6th grade, we touched things like STDs and AIDS and briefly the other gender's puberty. Then in 9th grade we got full blown everything. Puberty, Sex, STDs, Pregancy.. everything. We don't have to deal with it after that, which is a good thing. I got my period when I was 13, so I knew about it way before.

I had sex ed in 4th, 5th, and 7th grade. It hardly helped though. When I first had sex, I didn't know anything! And I'm definitely one to pay attention when something important is being said. All they would talk about is your period and pregnancy. There's a lot more to a girl's life then getting her damn period lol.
I had a guy who literally tried to get be pregnant when I was 13 (strange eh?) which I had no idea about. The second time we did something he "cummed" in me which I had told him absolutely not to do. He claimed, "Well guys don't know when they're about to and they can't feel it when they are." Which I later learned is a big lie. They never taught things like that in sex ed lol! |

lol ......i did ......during 5th grade ....good times ...good times ....but , i havent ever experienced puberty till i reached 10th grade ...lol .....and most people would say that i still look like a 13 yr old .....and i think its important to have those classes in 5th grade ....because who knows people could be experiencing it differently then you .....but for me ........just think of a short chubby mann walking by the hallways ....and had a girly ....voice ....yup thats me

I haven't taken Sex Ed, my school doesn't offer it. However, when you take Health, some of those topics come up.
I remember back in 4th grade I had to watch this video about body changes. |

haha yeah i had it in like 5th grade. im not sure if that was before puberty for me but eh. it was so funny because i found it really weird that one of the male teachers showd the boys a tampon so after school i said mommy mommy mr hengen showd the boys a tamponn.. and my little brother who was about 5 at the time was all ohhhh i was like ohh oops lol.. yeah i guess it was one of those you-just-gotta-be-there moments

yes, they taught it at my school in 5th or 6th grade and it really helped alot of girls understand puberty more as well as the guys. i recommend schools teaching it so teens are aware of what's going on.

I've had it every year since fifth grade. In 7th grade, they made us learn about the dude stuff.
Gross. Thye even had a video that showed the "process."  OMG!!! lol.
