Welcome to Createblog fourth Drawing/Painting Contest.

Unlimited submissions may be made, but only one submission per person. The deadline for submissions is January 13th Deadline pushed to January 19th. After the submission deadline, four judges and myself will look at the submissions and nominate which artwork they think are the best five, which will be put up for voting. Nominees will be announced and voting will begin on January 14th. The Createblog community will then be able to vote on which artwork they think is the best. On January 20th, the winners of the Art contest will be announced.

Dates are subject to change.


Rules:
  • Submit only Drawing/Painting work here. Photography submissions belong in the Photography Contest in the Picture forum.
  • One submission per person.
  • You may change your submission at anytime as long as you only have one submission.
  • Use your own artwork, not someone else's.
  • No edits are allowed.
  • Please thumb your submissions.
  • You must have a minimum of 50 posts to participate.

  • Jeng
  • UHH
One judge spot is open. Please PM me if you would like to judge.

I haven't drawn in so long...Geez, I've never even attempted this style before, lol.
(I added very little color because I actually liked all the penciling & my scanner doesn't work so I had to take a picture instead)

I would also like to point out that I suck at drawing _smile.gif

so this one was actually for my final exam in drawing.. we put together our own still lifes (lives?) that was inspired by the style of one artist. and we also had to use a tie, vase, and painting by the person. which explains the... randomness of the objects. i dont really know. my teacher is silly.


done in prismacolor pencil. inspired by dali =)
