Today at lunch, I bought a little bottle of strawberry milk. I was really thirsty so I didn't bother examining it or anything before I basically drank the whole thing....I noticed it tasted a little...sour, so I looked at the expiration date. January 9th (which is also my birthday... biggrin.gif anyway...). So then my friend Taylor was like "eww what's on the bottom of that?" and there was a bunch of brown moldy-looking stuff, so then I looked at the milk itself, which was supposed to be pink because of the strawberry-ness, and it was clearish white. I spit it out all over the table. Ewwwwww. sick.gif

Then I told the teacher and she told me to go get another... and I was just like "...um, no thanks"

So...the point of this is, have you ever drank/eaten any really nasty spoiled food?

Moved to Food

Ew, that's disgusting. If I see mold or something growing on any food, I won't even take a second look; into the trash it goes. wink.gif

Nothing like day old sushi. Hah.

I always check dates on stuff. Even chips and other processed foods. I'm just anal like that. When my brother and I were younger we would always find old food in our freezer. One time we had expired milk and he drank some early in the morning when he was still tired and it was like.. curding already. Ew. He puked in the sink.

i used to drink milk every day. and i always microwaved it for 50 seconds. once day, (i didnt know this, obviously.) i microved my milk for the usual 50 seconds. but, it was so expired, that when i tried to drink it, it came out like jello. solid, jello-y chunks.

I have gum that was kind of flaky and non-gumlike. I found out it was expired 2-3 years ago.
