I appreciate the replies, guys. The situation hasn't been solved yet. She wanted to talk to my supervisor, but good luck with that because he knows how productive and sincere I am in what I do. I wonder though if things don't go her way, would she and her little bandwagon will start some fiasco whenever they see me. That would be interesting.

Her friend was definitely a hypocrite, but then now that I've calm down, I realized that I got a little mouthy (argumentative, surprise!) after she said I wasn't Christian enough. I suppose I will have to apologize for that only because the lady is an older woman.

"Watered down Christian", I'll remember that one, James.

Sammi, you're depressed because you ain't got no love from me. ohmy.gif

Fae is lame, isn't she? Yes, I agree. thumbsup.gif

Well, there's always my avatar. It doesn't seem right for cBers to call me anything else for some reason. I'm weird like that I guess.

Haha, FAELOVE. *Sprinkles some FaeLove on Sammi*. There you go. Don't be depressed no more~~~

Ummm Fae, don't call her a watered down Christian to her face. She might think you're a Catholic if you do ermm.gif

I can't say I've had many good experiences interacting with most evangelical protestants. I try to avoid talking to them in person and even online.

Most Mormon people I've talked to seemed pretty nice though. And I talk to a couple of Southern Baptists (I think) and they're very friendly.

I dunno, I just don't feel that you can just start your own religion when you don't like rules. Me, I'd prefer to be part of the Church that Jesus Christ started than to be part of a congregation started by a man who didn't like the rules.

That woman must be pro-christian. blink.gif

It's happened to me before, because i'm from Guatemala and most people there are catholic.. but I live here so people assume I'm Christian.

But I am neither. mellow.gif

Um. Catholic is a KIND of Christian, for future reference.

Anyway, you're right Fae, that woman was way inappropriate. Religion does not necessarily affect one's character.

Yeah. She's what I call a "Christian Nazi" Fae. I know, stupid terminology, but you get the gist. I've had my run in with quite a few. And they wonder what drives people away.

GAH those people annoy the heck out of me.

One told me I was going to hell. mellow.gif Ok, you don't know whether someone's going to go to heaven or hell. I hate it when people preach and get all evangelical on me.

Religion and character don't necessarily relate to one another. If you were doing your job, what does that have to do with not being Christian enough? huh.gif
