CB needs some excitement., ideas

No I didn't make this topic to ask for a forum reorganization. I'm just here to say my opinion, and people don't be immature about this.
We need new forums. I don't know about you, but I'm getting really bord with the ones we have. There are a few forums we don't need; I can't specify but maybe you can.

When I say need new forums, I compared CB with other mbs like seizure, radiant, clique, disaster, and whatever. I see them having forums like The Talented, Online Rants, etc. What do you think? It doesn't have to be the ones I mentioned, what forums do you think we should have and be honest. I was looking at the categories on layouts, and I saw animals. Maybe we can have an animal forum under interests. biggrin.gif

Rants seem good. But then usually they can fall under relationships.. I don't think we need new forums, actually. It's just that people don't have good ideas for topics.

Hi -

Understand that I'm only on my first cup of coffee, so if I'm out of line here just let me know.

How exactly isn't this like forum reorganization? Part of that process can include taking out needless Forums and adding new ones.

Just asking for clarification because in all honestly, your first post is vague. Can you give examples of what isn't needed here?

Online Rants? Well, read through Anonymous Shoutouts, Message to Anyone and Pet Peeves if you'd like some rant reading. There is also the First to Post on Page Whatever, which is basically a free-for-all. I'm not sure what The Talented is about, so perhaps you can ellaborate a bit on that.

By the way, having a Pets forum has been brought up with very little response. Unless the idea of an Animal Forum is different in some way, I'm just not seeing a big need for it.

yeah i think it would get boring in animals there is nothing to talk about, and like someone else already said we just don't have good ideas for topics i will try to think of some and post them because im always bored biggrin.gif lol! but definatly not an animals forum! but that's just what i think!

^I would love for that to come back, I want him to pick a new one already. The one up is starting to annoy me. And I know people that are waiting for it to start over so they can post their banners.

Holly, I think Ju-Sun is still keeping it because of the popularity of CBStats. Quite a number of people use it and know about it because they see the banner on the homepge.

There is one thing already planned for this Friday, though it would be nice to keep it a surprise. _smile.gif It isn't a new idea.

If you read, I can't specify.. I know some members could thing of a few things. And this isn't a forum reorganization; reorganization means moving forums and that type of stuff.

I'm not saying that having new forums is a bad idea. I think it's a great idea. All I am saying is that it's fine and dandy to suggest that cB needs more excitement and that it would be great if we <insert what we can do to make it better here>, but it would be nice if you can try to be more specific about how it is you think we can make it better.

For example, I asked what The Talented forum was about. It sounds interesting and something we might want to do here from the title, but what type of talent related content would it contain?

Anyone else have anything to add as far as what types of new forums you would like to see here?

i think if we had like cb chat but like it wasn't like you can only access it with aim i think we should make it more like dA you know what i mean.

One of the things that results in excitement is change, whether it's good or bad. Regular, frequent changes but not frequent enough to be a hassle.
