i would like to nominate my page. because it is simple, clean, and depends more on the image, colourscheme, and organization rather than fancy coding and flash.
revolutionplusdesire @ myspace. note: yes, i used bbzspace for the initial overlay code. if you view my source and examine my css, you will see that i heavily edited and changed the codes i was given using codes i have written myself and the knowledge i have. i also used the basic fullpage model rather than one with 2 or 3 div layers. i only use bbzspace because i find the codes they provide to be more efficient at hiding the original myspace content and cleaner than other codes i've gotten from sites such as this. which brings me to this little fact -- using a base code (not an entire code churned out by a generator, just the bare basics) from sites like bbz is no different than using the base codes provided by cb. and it should not be something held against "designers" as long as it it clear they put time and effort into their design. i'm sorry for ranting so much on the nominations thread. i just wanted to make it clear that i am fully capable of debating the usasge of overlay models from bbzspace. since it has been brought up to me in the past. |
