![]() ![]() Just curious, who else has listened to this album and what do you think about it? Being the die hard Killers fan that I am, I listened to it dozens of times on MTV Leak and bought it the day it came out. It's a great album - not the best in 20 years as Brandon had claimed, but great nonetheless - although I'm a little disappointed for several reasons. The album starts off very strong but seems to really die down halfway through the album, but perhaps that's just my personal taste. Even more disappointing is the lack of "Hot Fussesque" songs - we only see a trace left of their previous new wave sound. I understand that they're maturing and experimenting with a new sound and all, but why stray so far from the sound that got your fans to fall in love with you in the first place? Meh. That's just my .02. [EDIT] Oh crap, my bad. I just noticed that there's already a topic on this but I had searched "Sam's Town" prior to posting which is why I missed it. Sorry about that guys. ![]() |
