have you ever told the person that you liked that you liked them? how'd it go and how do you feel about it?

i did, and omg, it was so awkward. ok, well, first of all, he was a good friend of mine and i had finally realized that i did in fact like him, cept my friend liked him too, and she hadn't told me, but i figured it out. and we were talking on the phone and she finally admitted it to me. and then over a period of a day, she wanted to tell him, and i still didn't tell her. then she wanted me to tell her for her... and i did, and it was soo hard .. and i took forever to do it. i started by saying that i had a problem that i had a friend that liked this guy and that she didn't know how to handle the situation (kinda made it sound like it was me). and he replied by saying that my friend should have someone tell the guy for her (exactly what i was doing). then i went into how my friend liked him, and he was kinda shocked, but told me that she should talk to him about it. but since i had such a hard time telling him it, he was like "i'm sorry that you had to get dragged into this" and gahhhh! then out of no where i went "you know, i could make this a whole lot more complicated than it is" and he wanted me to tell him what i meant, but i didn't. then the next day he told my friend that he liked her . but since my friend couldn't handle that info, she obsessed over the whole thing, and when we were talking on the phone, i finally told her and she was all "i'm so glad you told me" and gah, she convinced me to tell him . gah... THAT right there was so shocking and scary to me. and i did it and he was in a shock too. and i didn't know what to say. and he sensed all the weirdness and suggested that maybe i should go and sit down or take a nap or something to calm me down. and well, that was in april i think. i don't really remember. then two days after that, my friend had a talk with him about how she didn't want to be involved in this whole thing, blahblahblah. she didn't tell me about it, but a week passed and she said that he said that he liked me. but that was probably only as in a friend and cuz she was my friend, he's not gonna say he doesn't like me. i don't know, my friend is kinda flaky . gah. me and this guy have never talked about this again. it's kinda weird, but we're still friends.. my friend has moved away to ireland and she acts flaky still and gah, she makes me mad. gahhhh frustrating the way it turned out, cuz i'm afraid to talk about it to the guy... YEAH, weirdness...

When ever I like a guy I tell him face to face that I like him. If he doesn't like me, I'll deal. I told the guy I'm with now that I like him and we've been going out for a couple months now. I do it and I don't care what he thinks of me after it. I guess it all really depends on your opinion. If you can handle rejection or not I guess..

OMG!! I've been waiting for this sort of post so I could tell you all about something that happened to me that I am like so embarrassed about...

Well, I liked this guy in like the beginning of the year. He was always asking me weird questions, so I took it as a hint that he liked me. Only like 2 of my friends knew, and one of them was always seeming to flirt with him at my table trying to pressure him into saying he liked me. Like, "Who do you like?" and then he'd be like, "Nobody." Then she would say, "Is it Ally?" That made it so obvious. Then she was always like sit there!! And she'd point to where he was sitting. I was always so fricken embarrassed. Soon, came Winter Break. I felt obligated to tell him since like he probably already knew. I mean, he told one of my friends that I was always following him!! Which is sorta true... Anyways, on the day before the day we were let out for Winter Break, I was trying to make a note that was casual, yet flirty to tell him how I felt. Some were complicated saying to call me and say his name was "Danielle" and my phone number. Some were flirty like, "Guess who I like...?? Call me if you think it's well... you." And some were just blank. Well, after he got out of Gym to head for his bus on the day we left for Winter Break I asked him if he still wanted to know who I liked. He kept pestering me about it. Anyways, he said, "Sure," and I gave him the note that was simple and sweet. It read "you."

Even to this day we're akward about it, even though I don't like him anymore. It was the first and only time I actually told a boy by myself that I liked him... Weird, huh??

well this is the story:

i saw him in first period on the 3rd day of school. i noticed that he couldn't stop staring at me. then i thought "oh, he looks so cute!" and then we were in the same class together for about 2 weeks and then i knew that i started to grow feeling for him.

after that, i kept telling my friend about him and she was all like "he's cute!" (but she didn't like him) and when my friend and i were talking on aim, she said she was going to tell him that i like him and ask him who he likes.

my friend told him the next day and he was really suprised. then about 2 days later, i saw him and his friends walking home & i was right in front of them. his friends were like "hey! girl with the red backpack! he likes you! *points at the guy i like*

i dont know if it's completely true, but im going to ask him on monday or tuesday. hopefully he says yes and asks me out.

Don't be sad... i know it's tough not to be dissapionted, but that was a risk and you took it. I think it's great htat you didn't put any pressure on him to say, "yes". You have balls and thats awsome! I know you don't feel the best right now, but chear up. If he didn't like you that way, don't worry about it. I know it's difficult, but you have to realize that there are more great guys out there just waiting to be found and those great guys may be waiting to find you. He's nto the only one, and you arn't in a relationship so you don't have to lean on him...

If you can't move on because you don't have a clear answer from him, and you still like him. You need to talk to him and get that answer. Make sure he knows why you are doing it though. In this case, make sure you two are alonge and tell him somethiing like this, "Hey *his name*, when I told you I liked you... you never said anything. I didn't understand you. You never told me whether you liked me or not, and it's not allowing me to move on. I need an answer so my life isn't stuck on pause. I still want to be your friend, but I don't want to be your friend and hope for something that isn't there. How do you feel about me?"
