To me it means going out, but not in a real relationship yet.

But then if someone says "Oh, we're still seeing eachother." then it might mean that they're still in a relationship.

I dunno. It gets confusing.

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

i think it means like... going on dates a few times, trying to see if you want to be in a relationship or not. like, testing. or it could mean dating officially, but not as bf/gf yet. i think it all depends on the context.

I guess it means going out with each other just not officially as boyfriend and girlfriend.

It could mean that you're formally dating. Or you're just in an informal relationship. I'm not sure.

In Dr. Phil's opinion, the context "seeing each other" contain many meanings. It's a very vague statement. Here are the following means it may have:

A) Two individuals are in an unofficial, or an informal, relationship. Meaning they don't really tell their friends about it, excluding their close friends.

B) Two individuals are in an official, or a formal, relationship. Meaning they are open about their relationship to people: their friends, family, and pets.

However, in most circumstances, it's usually choice A. Individuals, or couples, use that statement to imply that they are in an unofficial relationship.

Dr. Phil is sure this point have been established already by prior posts, but Dr. Phil thought Dr. Phil should put it in a more organized fashion.

It's just synonymous with "dating" or "going out".
