When I first came to U.S in 4th grade, I was sent into ESL and I would get confused between kitchen and chicken. Not that I didn't know the different, but the pronounciations always confused me. Haha. But I never make that mistake anymore!

Was I the only one? rolleyes.gif wink.gif

i didn't make a mistake between those words but i was in ESL in 1st or 2nd grade.
I got scared by the crazy teacher
she was old and wrickled skin and she had huge eyes
i didn't understand what the word "ghost" meant so around halloween she tried to explain it to me.
now that i think bout it the scary ghost in that room was her ahahhaha
anyways i still remember u in 4th grade i think my mom still has the 4th grade class photo with her oh so dear memories of her children growing up

I remember I took ESL when I first lived in Australia because I didn't say 'good morning' to my classteacher. XPP She thought I didn't know any English.
