Ok I have been searching these forums for 20 minutes, so I'm sorry if the answer to this has been posted before...

But I would like to know how to change the color of the text in the comments that my friends have left me.

For example, this is my myspace and if you look in my comment DIV you will see that all of comment the text is black. Is there a code so that I can change it from black to a color that better matches my layout?

table, td, li, p, div, textarea {color:COLOR;}

will take care of most of the basic text on the page.

td is the tag that specifically deals with the comments text.

Try something like this:
CODE
<style>.comt td td td, .comt td td td b {color:######}</style>

or, find the section of your code that controls your div. You should be able to change the color there:
CODE
.comt {width:150px; height:100px; overflow:auto; color: 000000;background-color:ffffff;  border:1px solid; border-color:ffffff;
position:absolute; top:100px; left:50%; margin-left:-100px;}

And you can change where it says "000000"

Hah neither of those suggestions worked, but I managed to figure it out myself.
That always happens with this forum.
As soon as I post a problem, I figure it out. gah
