Ok, I am getting a portrait tattoo of my dog on my left thigh and a heart to her right side and a portrait of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the other side so when you put them together it's those two with a heart in the middle. Does anyone know if portrait tattoos hurt more than any other and does anyone know if they're expensive and if it's easy for someone to find someone to do that..

theyre needles constantly stabbing you with ink... no matter if its a portrait or not itll still hurt the same ... it depends on how much and where your skin is being tattooed...

the cost depends on the size & the amount of detail of the tattoo
finding someone to do your tattoo should take time because you want to research & find the artist that will best create your tattoo the way you want it have fun with that

Interesting choice(s) for a tatoo.
Read this: Guide to Tattoos and Piercings. Kiera did a great job finding all that information and was nice enough to post that thread. I'm also not sure if this should be moved to Health or stay in The Lounge since after looking, tat conversations are pretty spread out. So I'll just let nature take its course since this thread isn't harming anything by staying here. :) |

well, i would think that a portrait would cost more than a picture, because uh, its an actual picture = more intricate, more ink, more labor.
and yes, youre getting ink injected into your skin cells without anesthetics, so I believe that, yes, it will hurt. |
