Let me take you for a walk
Down the road leading to serenity
Flowers floating upon the nostalgic air
With its petals swimming on smooth crystals

I'll never forget the day
When I took you for a walk
Our words mirrored the water's ripples
Flowing further away from our grasp

The breeze pushing you away
Only further to a path I cannot take
The soft, smoothe breeze
A guilty and cruel wind
To take you from me

A calamity drowning in this lake
Sincerely parting the waters
With your fragile fingers pressing
Upon each non-existent second

Ten years ago I took you for a walk
Never was there such a pure feeling
An eerie song, a quiet song

This sorrow we pass remembers
the day when our ignorance
Washed away before us
Pulling the scarlet silk
Stained with forgotten sins
A rich melody unlike before

----
The title comes from the song Takuro by Vanessa Mae. It's an instrumental piece and I was really influenced to write this.
