You could braid your hair when you get out of the shower...and when it dries you will get wavyness.

or

Have a shower the night before wait till your hair is dry, or blow dry it. Once it is dry take and elastic band and without puting it in a pony tail so you dont get the bump around your head, make a bun. But you want the bun to be very messy with several elastic bands holding it together. Sometimes it goes wild in the morning but most of the time I get these night wavy gurls, but since i was sleeping i just put water on my hands and brush my hands through it, but gently very gently. :) hope this helps x.x

Have you tried using rollers? You could put those in and sleep in them over night, then take them out in the morning.

I would also try what xxbrokenxx (sorry, I don't know your name) said. My friend does that a lot where she puts her whole head of hair in braids and then takes them out when they dry a bit.

You could try a thickener or volumizer if your hair is flat as well. I hope that helps happy.gif.

Hm... a few things that you could try, see if they work out for you.

You could always take a warm bath, so it steams in the bathroom... then spray your hair with setting lotion and put curlers in. The steam will help set the curls (so your hair doesn't go as flat as easy) and then remove them when your hair's dry.

You could take random sections of hair and twist tightly and literally scrunch up into small balls. Take it down when it's dry. But remember, this only gives a wave not a curl.

But remember, it's harder to create a curl without heat if you don't already have a natural wave or curl to your hair.

Well to get your hair curly you can like take a shower in the morning and get a bunch of hair clips. put on Tigi Curls Rock and the booster (it works on me hopefully it works on you!) just kinda dab in your hair and then bunch up your hair in sections ( big sections or small ones depending on your hair thickness) then get the booster and spary it on so the curls can kinda stay. leave it on for 30 minutes or when its dry. then just take of the clips and VIOLA!

it could be hard tho if your hair is like SUPER straight.

Like velcro rollers?
Cause regular roller sets dont ruin your hair, its actually good for your hair.
But Im not sure about the velcro ones, I think they are okay too.

When you get out of the shower (at night), seperate your hair into three sections (left, back, right) and french braid each one. In the morning when it's dry, take it out. You can leave it like taht if you want soft waves, but if you take some gel (any brand), rub it into your hands, then scrunch up from the bottom to the top, it holds really well. That's the only way I can wave my hair since it's so incredibly straight.

if you do regular braids, you kind of miss the top section... so yeah. french braids.

i usually, right after i shower, put it up in a bun--then, the next morning it's still a tad wet, put mousse on it and light hair spray. you get that wavy/curly look--and it looks very natural

I would actually suggest a mousse.
Mousse gives body to style, and works best on fine hair (which it sounds like you have fine hair). And it's not sticky. You should probably get a kind with extra holding for curls.
Mousse is great because even if you want to wear your hair straight but not flat you can massage it into your roots and blow dry.

You could also scrunch equal amounts of serum and gel into your curls. Serum keeps the gel from getting stiff when it trys and stops curls from get frizzy and keeps them shiney. I'm not to sure how it would for fine hair, but I'd suggest the mousse.

^^ I think she's thinking of Wash 'N Curl. But from what I hear it doesn't work.
I'm not too sure how a shampoo could curl your hair. It's cheap stuff too.

YEAHHH! That's the one I was thinking about!!

My friend used it and it curled her hair..
I think you just have to leave it in a little longer than usual.

My hair is almost considered "fine" but I use hot rollers every once in a while to give it a wave; it makes it thicker. I use the velvet lined ones though. They're more gentle on your hair and help keep it shiney.
Hopefully the shampoo will work for you thumbsup.gif
