can i jus point out that there is no reason to feel sorry for the mother in the situation... provided he doesnt cheat, which isnt made any more likely by the type of person who he is attracted to.

Because that brings disturbing thoughts that make me want to vomit.

I would just accept it if he's bi (though I really, really would rather NOT know and pray that if he's bi or homosexual, he WILL NOT tell me), but I wouldn't tell my mom, b/c she's incredibly homophobic and will probably end up killing him.

gah. that took a lot out of me. i'm still convinced i was born through immaculate conception.

If my father told me he was bi, I don't really think I would do anything. And personally I don't think my dad would do anything either. He has a girlfriend anyway so I suppose I couldn't see anything happen for the time being.

It'd be really awkward. I would tell my mom, or at least make him tell her. It's not fair to keep something like that from your wife. I wouldn't have a problem with it though, I am who I am and that won't change.
