Okee dokee. I've got a bit of a dilemma.

I have a DIV overlay and I want my friend count to be displayed on top of my overlay. I already have a friend count on my page but I have to update it manually. Now, I want MySpace's original "______ has XXX friends" message displayed on top of my overlay so it updates every time I add friends.

The problem is, I can't position the message absolutely on top of the overlay because the code I use to hide my friends, comments etc. also hides the message that I want displayed. I have the friend space comments and everything else after that grouped into one entire class so they can be hidden all at once. Unfortunately this method also includes the friend count message and hides it as well.

If anybody knows of a way in which I can hide my friend space and comments while still allowing me to position the friend count message on top of my overlay I would love to hear from you. Thanks!

Its not possible. The only way to show that is to unhide your friends and comments and put them in a div where you want that.

Sorry its myspae, you can't do everything you want.

Yea, I figured it out. I unhid the friend space and comments div and then resized it so the only thing visible within it is the friend count message. Then, I can position the div anywhere on my page. Seems to be working okay.
