I always post so late at night, so nobody is up (plus i'm on the west coast, dunno if anyone else is.)

ANYWAYS, I found the codes to hide everything, sat all day and figured out what each and everyone one of them do yada yada.

Basically I found myspaceprodesigns.

Anyways, to make a long story short, he doesn't really get into too much depth and it's kind of annoying because he uses basic color models for example.

body {
background-color: blue
}

however, whenever I use the code and try to input an entirely different color say...
#ededed or #ffcc90 which are both ugly colors I know...
nothing happens.
notta, zilch.

To make this quick, can anybody give me help here? I kind of figured out where each "style tag" goes and what it does, but I'm still pretty lost here and I've spent literally days trying to figure this out.

Help.

Oh, if you could message me on aim that'd be neat too.

asci attack

i don't have yahoo, but it might become an "investment".
thank you!

yes if you need color codes go here.

http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/color-blend/

Also in the myspace codes don't put the # symbol just the color code.

Anything else you need to know?
Haha and its fine, I'm on the east coast and its 2am.
So its around 11pm for you guys, I'm use to it. I have quite a few friends on the west coast happy.gif

Sorry about the "double post" thing, cox cable (a provider out here) has been really suckin it up the past couple days.

Anyways, I just don't know what I"m doing wrong, honestly. I had a layout up yesterday that I was all proud over, and then I couldn't figure out the positioning and why it wasn't meshing well with IE (firefox user) and spent 2 hours doing that. On top of the fact that it turned out I was using the wrong code for the wrong thing.

Stupid margin-top.

anyways, i guess what i'd like to know is, would it just be better to use all graphics? because as far as I'm concerned making your own divs is a huge pain in the...well...ya know.

and i've spent TOO much time trying to figure this out, and not enough time doing it.

I guess if i could just get some help, like a step by step process or something.
cause seriously, this is baffling me.
thanks.

All of it.
Just kidding, actually this is the nicest group.
I won't go into others i've run into that get angry about questions.

I don't know actually, the more I think about it, the more i'm getting the idea.
I just think I need to process this fully, take a break for a few. Smoke a cigg and get at it.
That was too much info I know.

Anyways, I really don't want to make 900 graphics on photoshop because A. I don't have the room and I'm almost out of space on flickr.

Um wow, pointless.
Anyways, I guess I'll just have to play around with it.

OH I DO HAVE A VALID Q!!!
Ok, so the last layout I had and this is a weird one because I thought IE was the bad browswer, but..

In IE my borders worked, in FF they didn't show up at all?
Reasoning?
God I wish I still had the code, but I put it away.

SORRY SORRY ILL STOP NOW.

haha.
Okay go smoke and then come back, and I'll explain the first step for you. You don't have to make a million images in photoshop if you don't want. You can also have a plain div layout thats just boxes and color.

Its a little plain, but it works at times.

You have a neat background image that would be neat.

hah and awe thank you for calling me nice, atleast I think thats what you meant pinch.gif

First Question
Do you want your comments[&friends] to show or no?

Negative!

And yes I called you nice, I tried to get help on a myspace group but quickly got booed off stage, by those people.

I do not want anything, I know the code to hide everything.

k Put the code to hide everything in to your myspace about me section.

Now do you have a main image you want to use?

No I don't, like I said I really don't want to have to use too much photoshop,
{secret i suck at it}
so, i have my bg and such however.
I have FF, and the code to hide everything left those 2 thingies.
And now, I have those 2 thingies that won't go away.
I'm gonna try the other code real quick.

ps, I have some images and crap but I'm not keen on the whole idea.
I feel like everyones "overlay" looks the same nowadays, and just like to keep things simple.

Here's where I'm at right now.

I started following myspace pro designs again.
For some reason 2 of the sections (i'm assumin "general" and one of those other ones) were showing up and nothing else was, then my background was great but I could still read blogs and such.

I don't know what I"m doing, honestly.
I sorta do, but don't.
