I hope this isn't already a posted topic ermm.gif but anyway- there's an anime series I am in love with, and it's called "The Big O" and the animations a little cheesy but the plot is very, interesting _smile.gif
I'll explain it;
Big O is set in Paradigm City, a domed metropolis with a mixture of futuristic and contemporary features. It is widely believed that no human civilization exists outside the city (though, this has never been confirmed nor denied, given the fact that all or most of the residents of Paradigm City choose to stay inside the dome than to venture out). Forty years before the show first takes place, a mysterious occurrence known only as "The Event" completely wiped out the memories of the isolated city's inhabitants. There are few clues as to what exactly took place during that fateful moment, but it forced the people of Paradigm to start anew, severed ties and all; this mystery is a central feature of the show.

The principal character of Big O is Roger Smith, a professional freelance "negotiator" who conducts negotiations between parties within Paradigm City and occasionally with criminal elements. Secretly, he is also the pilot of the Big O, a giant robot called a Megadeus, which is an artifact of the world before "The Event." Supported by his android housemate R. Dorothy Wayneright and his faithful butler Norman Burg, Roger tries to perform his role as Negotiator while at the same time using the Big O to protect the city from attacks by threats internal and external and trying to discover the truth about The Event, Paradigm City, and the world he is confronted with as a whole.

and it's a little wierd but if you stay tuned into it I'm sure you could find it interesting, despite the poor animation _dry.gif Think of it this way, it's a mixture between gundam wing && batman laugh.gif
if you've ever heard of it, pleaseee state your happy.gif opinion

OH! OH! Everyone wears black. XD Yes, I enjoy remembering stupid things about shows. I can quote you lines from YYH, but I can't tell you the names of the four Saint Beats. The Big O is 26 episodes, 2 seasons long as of now and there should be a third season. There isn't, that I'm aware of.

It's not poor animation either, per se. mellow.gif It's done in an older style, that's all. &I really see no similarities to either Gundam or Batman.

Okay... Roger is like Batman, I suppose. Now compare your plotlines. &you have... What? Usually when you compare a series to another, you base it on both elemental and plot similarities. Gundam too. Yeah... It has giant robots in it. That doesn't automatically connect them. Honestly, it's much more like Gigantor.

I like it. 'twas very entertaining for the sheer fact that I didn't know what was going to happen. That's always nice.

And actually I do agree with what you say about the animation, it is older style now that I think about it happy.gif
&& Roger does act like Batman and I didn't realize that until after the first season sweating.gif

I like the fashion. Formal Elegant Gothic Gentelmen. Yeah, sweet.
And, some of the piano scores are really cool.
Otherwise, I could care less. whistling.gif
