How does someone who used to sing "im like a bird, I only fly away" go in the completely opposite direction and become promiscuous?

Yes i blame both b/c rap has been degrading women for years and timberland was the one to pick nelly up and make her put out this disgraceful "LOOSE" album Loose ALSO means SLUT GOD I HATE THE WORLD NOWADAYS damn that rap music So.
