The whole time I've been on staff I've only ever received one report, and that was over a year ago.

mynocturnal is part of myspace staff, however. The only time she posts in that section is maybe every 3 days. I don't know if she spends all her time just regulating the posts in there, or keeping track of warned members, or only controls the queue. But I never see her post. Unless its 3-4 days in between posts. But! I do see her post in a lot of the community fourms. Maybe she should be people staff instead..? Ah, I knew someone would bring this up one day. Actually, I was talking about this to Diana (Mercy) yesterday. I can assure you I'm trying my best to post although it seems whenever I go there, all the questions have been answered and well from said before (quote from Holly) Well if you don't remember you do repeat a lot of answers in help topics I'm trying not to "Repeat" answers so I can't respond if I have the same thing to say if its already answered. Gah, I hope you understand where I'm coming from. |

QUOTE Well if you don't remember you do repeat a lot of answers in help topics Now since design is not really something i know much about, but ive noticed that in the help topics alot of them are like the SAME questions over and over again....? So wouldent it be reasonable if someone was to "repeat" answers to the "same" topics? Or am I getting something mixed up? |

^ There are more people than just her that handle the Myspace layouts in the queue. I try my best to stay out of those layouts, since I'm spefically Xanga staff, and I have been going through the Xanga and Website layouts. Stuff is getting done back there, albeit slowly. We're figuring out standards and so forth as DIVs and Standard layouts are 'seperate' now, so just bear with us.

Yes mynocturnal, you do have a point. But there are "moderator actions" that you could be doing more of, (i.e. closing topics, merging topics). I don't know if there is a stop on the queue, but I haven't seen anything accepted since the 29th. There's no need for her to "prove" herself by doing moderator actions. If she is posting and keeping her activity up, as well as other mods taking care of the closing and merging, I don't see a problem with it. |

I think you posted this in the wrong spot. You should've posted this in Features of cB4 that you love. This topic is for giving comments about the moderators. |

So have you guys completely ignored all my complaints or what? No one is ignoring you. I think it's clear that you do not like staff. You make it a point to reiterate your discontent with staff every chance you get. You say it over and over again and believe me when I say that the message has been made perfectly clear. You've also managed to express your dislike for the community in general: yeah, that guy is not a f**king no good a-hole like most other people here. I vote steve330 as well. You believe you have been wronged and unfortunately that perception isn't particularly shared. You feel like you've been singled out, attacked? How about coming to this forum and seeing hardly anything from you other than being called a piece of shit? And what? You're angry because you got a verbal warning for spamming? She didn't even raise your warn level. The owner of this site even had to remove of a signature of yours (although your "Gore" comeback is pretty friggin funny). Do you hold him in the same regard as the rest of us? I don't know what more you want. You want to keep expressing your frustrations? Well, there's nothing I or anyone else can do about that and quite frankly, it's your right to. As far as people not responding to you, I know from first hand experience with you that I personally do not ignore you. I've made every attempt possible to work things out but you told me that you wanted to handle it yourself (I'm being intentionally vague). As far as the "reports" go, I did respond to that and said that I don't get them for some reason. PM folks in addition to reporting would be my suggestion, that way you know your complaint will be read. Our PM boxes are bigger now, so that really shouldn't be a problem. I'm not trying to be argumentative and I apologize for the verbose response, but it felt appropriate to do so. |

Not so much relevant to performance, but just a comment; I don't like how all lesser design-related staff positions have been removed, as it makes the position "design staff" seem easy for anyone to get and it makes it all the less "valuable," so to speak, for the moderators that worked hard(er) for the promotion.

When is brownsugar going to apologize and admit she was wrong and that the fact that she doesn't have a firm grasp on english vocabulary doesn't give her the right to persecute me? That's something that was discussed alot backstage. One of the main points that was brought up was that site specific staff didn't have but two forums to moderate.

I agree, the thing about the older positions when you were lower then you could always work harder to get to the position of design staff. Now its nothing special because everyone has it and for some of the people I don't really think they need the status or have control in some of those places. |

^ Chill... it's not all about a power thing... It's just practicality.
And anyway, all it does from that point of view is bring the design side of things in line with the People staff... after all there is (and never has been)any equivalent in the Community side of things to Design Staff |

I still stand by my opinion. That was something about the design part that differed from the community center. I just think it was better having it the way before, or better yet just having the same organization as the old resource center. Now its just all cluttered.

If the people who were currently on design staff thought it was a bad idea to switch the site specific staff to design staff it wouldn't have been done. I do agree about the old way the Resource forums used to be, I miss the old organization, but it's something that I'll have to adjust to.

Now its nothing special because everyone has it and for some of the people I don't really think they need the status or have control in some of those places. No offence but then you should find somemore forums for the original layout staff to moderate besides the measly 4 they each had... This has nothing to do with "power" it as james said more practical as the "lower" layout staff had only 4 bloody places to moderate.Alot of the current "Design staff" have a good grasp in all places of design and it would be a waste to have them only in one place. |
