Well, here's the thing guys, his signature isn't violating anything. You have to remember that although you might find something distasteful or irreverent, not everyone will have that same opinion.
I apologize if it offends some, but again, it isn't violating anything. |

If anything, it's more disrespectful to him than the victims.
Your signature on the otherhand reminds me of the Nazi flag. Are you a Nazi? Are you a Jew hater? Why would you associate yourself with those colors? |

^ Please? Colors don't insinuate anything. Not as much as your signature does.

That's your fault for interpreting it that way, because the image wasn't made with that intention, as far as I know.

^ Then maybe you wouldn't mind explaining the intent of your signature? I think it may put somethings to rest.

Colors can represent many things, and a lot of them are good things. However, your signature represents one thing, and that's the Virginia Tech Shooter. In fact, when you just post a picture of him, it looks as if you are glorifying him. Whether that is or is not what you are doing, it still looks that way.
There's a level of respect that should not have to be written into the rules. People didn't go posting pictures of terrorists with bombs after 9-11. I do think you ought to consider the feelings and reactions of other people before you put something like that into your signature. It's just professional etiquette. Does it violate the rules? Not per say. It can stay if you want it too. But I think it will hard for some people to take your criticism seriously with that in your signature. Just a word of advice. |

In fact, when you just post a picture of him, it looks as if you are glorifying him. Whether that is or is not what you are doing, it still looks that way. No it doesn't. You're interpreting it wrong, so clearly it can be interpreted differently. What if I like Old Boy? QUOTE There's a level of respect that should not have to be written into the rules. People didn't go posting pictures of terrorists with bombs after 9-11. I do think you ought to consider the feelings and reactions of other people before you put something like that into your signature. It's just professional etiquette. Yes, people did post terrorists. How many people posted Osama Bin Laden after. Go hound them. QUOTE Does it violate the rules? Not per say. It can stay if you want it too. But I think it will hard for some people to take your criticism seriously with that in your signature. Just a word of advice. Well, then that's their problem for thinking fallaciously. |

^ The problem lies with interpretation by the masses. If most people find it offensive, then it is whether you think so or not.
And usually, wneh they posted Osama Bin Laden, there were hate messages towards him along with that... and yours contains none of that, leaving it open to interpretation. Consequently, many are interpreting it as offensive, so perhaps you should consider other's feelings first. |

I'm reporting all of your posts for being off topic.

Man, you guys are just feeding his fire. I mean come on if he wants it in his signature then let him have it there. You guys have the right to have anything in yours. I know exactly who it is and it still doesn't bother me, never will because if he wants it there then he can.

I believe the mods are abusing their power. brownsugar closed my mod probation topic without just cause and I think she closed it just to get the last word in.

So you can read minds too now? How do you know how I will react?
I think the mods are unfair because they don't give users the benefit of the doubt. |

It is your responsibility as a mod to solve this problems. Therefore, it is your problem. Go to it.
the mods are creating a catch-22 in which they are saying they won't respond if I don't address them specifically, but if I do address them specifically, they close the topic, thus not responding. If that's not being unresponsive, and trying to dodge criticism, I don't know what is. |

This is abuse. She did not answer the question, I asked that the status be updated IN the topic, not OF the topic. |
