I'm currently reading Through Violet Eyes by Stephen Woodworth. Any character in the novel with real violet eyes has the ability to contact the dead. "Violets" are used in crime and law enforcement. Not really my type of book but I got it for free so I might as well read it.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and Only In Your Dreams: A Gossip Girl Novel by Cecily von Ziegesar. Two amazingly different novels, I know.

I had to read Fahrenheit 451 also. I didn't understand it. I ended up using sparknotes rolleyes.gif

Wow, I haven't actually finished a whole book in 7th grade since I just didn't like reading. I thought I'd give reading another chance, so I'm starting. Shadowmancer my G.P. Taylor. I got the book in 5th grade but I never found the time to read it since I only read books that counted toward my grade. :X

I figured I should merge the two pinned topics in here; I didn't see a difference.

Anywho, I'm currently reading Artemis Fowl; I really want to read Ender's Game or Choke. XD.gif

Those are both excellent choices! Choke is an amazing novel. Chuck Palahniuk's writing style is so dark and unique. Ender's Game is on my "to read" list.

I'm reading O Pioneers! and Crime and Punishment as of late. I plan on reading The Bell Jar next, if I can ever get my hands on it.
