yeah. I thought I told you that. She left last Thursday out of nowhere. They went from staying all year to leaving that week in a matter of 2 days. She's applying for colleges already now that she's homeschooling again.

She's applying to music schools to major in music. She was always good, but she's become f**king amazing. She composes. Has picked up even more instruments. She made AYSO with only a day's preparation and sightread the etude or something which was apparently too hard for many people who actually prepared for it. But oh yeah, she definitely has he potential to be important.

I'm continuing my obsession with all things Japanese and starting "The Tale of Murasaki". It's a fiction novel written by the first and only Western geisha, and so far I'm riveted. It's really great. It's no "Memoirs of A Geisha", but it's still fabulous.

I'm looking into reading "Kill Me Please" (or is it Shoot Me Please?), a history of the punk revolution. My silly library doesn't carry it. _dry.gif

I just started re-reading "In the Beginning...Was the Command Line", an essay by science fiction writer Neal Stephenson. It's an intriguing look at free software in modern computing.

I found a new book to read. The Devil's Arithmetic by Jane Yolen. Very interesting so far. It's about a Jewish girl who goes back in time to the Holocaust days.

Just Say No by Omar Tyree-great book by my favorite author. About two best male friends, and how they have always been there for each other. John is the famous musician, and Darin is his manager. Darin gets so caught up with celebrity status he turns to drugs and sex. Basically just living the rockstar life. He then goes to re-hab., the so on........

Flyy Girl by Omar Tyree-I started reading this book a long time ago. but never finished. I love it though. It has all the typical high school drama. Its great one of the best books ever. And I adore the character Tracy. There are many things about her that I admire.

Oedipus-I am reading this book as a class for English 12 CP. Its just like any other Shakespeare play. Not that interesting.

If you end up liking it you should try Man Child in the Promise Land by Claude Brown.

Ohh I read that last year for English. It was allright, I liked some parts and others I was like "ahh what?"

Anyways...

I still need to read Da Vinci Code! I just haven't had time. Hm, I had to read Fast Food Nation this summer and actually enjoyed it, well as much as one can enjoy reading about the disgustingness of the fast food industry. sick.gif

And I am addicted to Gossip Girls because they are soo.."intellectual." Ohh there is also this other series...snap I forget.

Oh yes,
I am also a closet H.P. fan tongue.gif
