QUOTE(xquizit @ Nov 10 2004, 1:31 PM) The last book I read was "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sistah Souljah but that was back in September. I don't have enough free time anymore to read... unfortunately. I want to read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold and "Pandora's Box" by Allison Hobbs. I'll pick them up when the semester's over. The Lovely Bones is a great book. =) I finished Life of Pi by Yann Martel right before finishing Shopaholic and Sister by Sophie Kinsella of the Shopaholic series. Life of Pi was pretty good, Martel's theories about religion make a lot of sense. The part about the carnivorous algae island kinda freaked me out though. =S. Shopaholic was...kind of cliche and like it jumped the shark, what with the long lost sister. I want to read You're the One That I Want by Cecily von Ziegsar, the newest addition to the Gossip Girl series. I'm addicted to that series. |

I'm reading The Adventures of Tom Saywer by Mark Twain. The community theater just put on a production of Big River so I was inspired to read some Mark Twain.

I heard the movie was good to so once i finish i'll have to see it. The movie was quite off(then again when does it ever go stictly by the book), but still very good nonetheless. As of now, for me, Mr. Timothy by Louis Bayard. It was such an impulsive buy, but I loved the character within the first few chapters. It's about, you know.. little Tim from that Scrooge book.. the little boy with crutches... it's about him all grown up in the dreary world of London. I suggest you try it sometime, but I still actually have to finish it |

QUOTE(mysticbreeze @ Nov 10 2004, 4:41 PM) Right now I'm reading The Scarlet Letter for school. I despise that book! I never read it once the whole time my class was reading it. Thank god for cliffnotes I'm currently reading King Lear in my AP English class right now. |
