My First Attempt, with gimp

Okay peoples, this is my first attempt at making something with Gimp so here it is

it's really dark. It needs more contrast. I wouldn't have put that grey color over the image, instead, I would have left it greyscaled
The blending is okay, GIMP is tough to use so I'll let that go haha
Great for a first though

Nice for your first, but it looks like too much feather. And I agree w/ Maryland . But its nice for your first. thumbsup.gif

I would have to agree with all three of them. To much feather. It needs more contrast. Other then that I would have to say that I love it. :-)

Does anyone know how I can blend it w/out looking like I used a lot of feather?

eh I've never touched that program, it looks good though for your first attempt with it I think. Although I think its just the pictures you used that I don't like, theres something weird on the top of her head.. it doesn't match her at all.

Good try with gimp.I heard its pretty hard.I don`t get the sparkle on the top left corner though.
