Celebrity Obsession Disorder, new disease? Options

Well, if there were such a disease, I'm sure the name is different. Basically there's this disorder that I think occur in many teens: (I call it C.O.D) Celebrity Obsession Disorder [COD]. Maybe I'm the only one who suffers this, but this is my quick description of the disorder.

Celebrity Obsession Disorder - A mental illness that occur in many teens. (Mostly girls between the ages of 10+) This illness causes the teen to obsess over a certain celebrity. Whether they be on television, in a movie, etc. Symptoms are: Finding out as much information about them as possible. (ex: Their hobbies, favorite color, what movies they starred in.), Having several dreams about [insert celebrity here], talking constantly about them, having them posted either on their website, bedroom wall, or phone mobile. (Sometimes all of the above.), and for the graphic designers: making several graphics that relate to them.

Reasons for C.O.D - 1. The teen has watched a certain television show, movie, or event in which he/she thought the celebrity was attractive/appealing/interesting. 2. Yhe teen has been crushing over this celeb for some time now and has let the sickness take over. 3. They just think he/she is cute.

Well, I was really bored and just wondering--does anyone else suffer from this or is it just me?

My advice for getting over C.O.D? 1. By meeting the celebrity it cuts the obsession. But the chance of this is pretty slim. 2. Find a real crush. 3. Find another C.O.D.
