Get over it. Life is never fair and it's not your fault. stop complaining.

If teachers wants more money, go work at private school.
At least, they're getting more money.

Teacher choose their job because it's their passion, not money.

You're joking, right? While I agree that one's aspiration should be related to their passion for doing a good job (ie doctors and educators) that should NOT mean that their salaries should be pittance.

So educators should hop on the Private School express? Where would that leave those of lesser socioeconomic status? Their only choice is to go to a public school and someone needs to educate them. How about instead of telling teachers to teach elsewhere, allocate more funds to education.

Having said that, comparing the salaries of celebrities to common folk will never lead anywhere. Some people just get handed the golden deck of cards, the rest of us deal with the financial life we're handed.

Also - it's not always a simple path to become a famous and wealthy sports persona, musician, artist, actress, etc.

yea it really is unfair i mean what benefit is paris hilton except acting like an idiot on t.v when teachers teach rude kids for a living and those kids are extremly ungrateful. this world is unfair.

i think firefighters and policemen should get a raise because they might not be able to save a life but they save many more while risking thier own everyday.

^just because they get paid a LOT for saving lives doesn't mean casualties won't happen. You can have a fireman paied 50000 bucks a month and yet he can still fail at saving a child in a raging inferno

Well, at least they save someone. Do athletes save children from raging infernos? I don't think so.
