Do you want to get rid of the tables touching, the tables off-alignement, or the tables having the bottom border? (of which you can't only take off the bottom border.)

is there a way to get rid of that bottom table all together or hide it somehow??

no i dont think there is. if you hid te links then you will be left with that box. you could create a div to put over that i supose.

Anyway, that little box isn't that big of a deal.
