title backgrounds? Options

I will try and make this as understandale as possible because I dont really know how to explain it. buuuut anyways, i was wondering what the code is to get a background bhind the 'titles' of each section (like your name, contacting so and so, so and sos interest and all its subheadings, etc)

that almost worked...how do I get it to take up the entire width of the table, not just the length of the text? (if thAT makes sense )

width: 100%; at the end of each one background-color: COLOR HERE;
