That's not exactly a blend, you just cut out the images. Look around the tutorial section for how to really blend.

You picked good images though.I don`t like the text..maybe a different font? The third one is really hard to see as well.

I think you did pretty well for your first try actually. I don't like the effects of the last one, it makes me get a little bit of a headache. pinch.gif

Always try positioning everything differently and try using some textures. Maybe a different background to match what your trying to bring out in the image.

oh oh http://pandemic.retrokill.org/blending.php
my tutorial on blending! <3
This doesn't suck. I'm not a big fan of how you cut out the pictures. It's noticable since there's white lines around her arms and such. So yeah, cut out the pictures close the the skin, and DONnn't feather them...
Oh yes, and reduce the size of the blend. It's GINORMOUS hahah.
The placement of the font/the font type could use a lil work.
the first one is the best =) a lot of the times, effects and too many brushes/textures destroys the picture. I don't like the brushes you used in the background though. It would be better to just overlap the picturs and erase (thats my personal preference.) Very good for a first though. Keep on blending =)

Thanks for sharing Maryland. <3
You picked sort of good images. The text and backround annoys me so much. We do have a lot of nice blending tutorials here.

the last one is a little hard to see. the blending looks nice. just don't add as much color to it.

I think the contrast between her and the backround is to great... you need to find a differen backround I think... :/

what exactly defines a blend anyways... itsn't that what it is... a bunch of images pasted together so they look real nice.... You really don't have to blend anything
