i want to make my status bar like this:

Edit the code where it says "message" and paste it into your Header section of your Look&Feel.

IIRC, Xanga has disabled it with a rather sneaky javascript trick. there is no easy way whatsoever to get any status bar scripts to work anymore. maybe it works in premium or something, but I'm not sure and I'd doubt you'd go for premium just for this.

**correction: status bar scripts work, but it's very difficult to get a scrolling one to work. I've tried to do it before, and trust me, the tricks around the security are not fun to work with. You're better off without it anyway; imho, the scrolling stuff is really distracting.
