So, I am getting a new MOBO and CPU, and was wondering if a Serial ATA150 will work on a SATA3.0 GB/s port. Are they backwards compatible or no?

Yeah, I'm almost postive SATA II is compatible with SATA I. Just curious, are you buying a Raptor?

No, I am just buying a new mobo, CPU(Intel), memory and a new vid card.
