Change it mostly when you get a custom friends list.
To hide it
CODE
<style type="text/css">
.redtext{dispay:none;}
</style>

heres the code to change it, i got it from BBZ

first thing you're gonna need to do is place this inbetween your style tags.

QUOTE
td.text td.text table td span.orangetext15, span.btext,
.bbz {this next line is just for extra care to make sure the number of friends you actually have is hidden}
span.btext span.redtext {display:none;}

.bbz {this next line is optional, it is to hide the "view all friends link" take it out if you dont want to hide that link.}
.redlink {display:none;}

and then at the very bottom of your "who I'd like to meet" section add this.

QUOTE
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td width="435" style="word-wrap:break-word">
YOUR MYSPACE NAME!'s Friend Space

</td></tr><tr>
<td bgcolor="ffffff" colspan="4" width="435" style="word-wrap:break-word">
YOUR MYSPACE NAME Has HOW MANY FREINDS YOU HAVE HERE! friends.

you can use regular <font> tags to change the color of what each part says if you'd like. just change what is bolded and it should work fine.
