Okay. well, I remember reading this old Seventeen magazine issue, and I remember that it said that if you have A LOT of hair around your breast, then you have breast cancer.
Well, for me, I have pretty much hair all over my body (haha. its lightt, unnoticable hair). Well, I don't have like, "OMG! YOU HAVE AN AFRO" on your breast kind of hair thing, but I do have a lot of hair on my breast, but its like..........really light hair, like, hair that you can't really see unless you looke EXTREMELY close up. Well, the magazine ifsays if you have a lot of hair on your breast, there's a high chance you have breast cancer...is that true?!!? It's not like my chest ever aches or anything, but now I'm being very insecured about the hair on my breast because I'm afriad I have breast cancer. So, basically, I want to know if the whole thing about, ifyou have hair on your breast, you have breast cancer?!? oh. and i might as well add my age. I'm 13 turning 14 in a couple of months. |

I have never heard of hair being a sign of breast cancer. Specially in someone as young as yourself. I honestly think you may have been misinformed.
And having light, thin hair in that area is normal. |

You could always do a self examination if you really need to be reassured. My mom use to have these helpful handouts that were waterproof and you could hang them in your shower so you'd never forget to do it once a month and exactly how to do it. They had a lot of details and pictures. My guy friends found one in my bathroom once.

^ LOL.
Anyway...you're SUPPOSED to have hair all over your body. The only places you're not supposed to see any hair are the bottom of your feet and the palms of your hands. |
