So here I go registering myself for facebook now that I have a proper e-mail address for my university but I can't register because apparently, my name "Mona Lisa" isn't valid. stubborn.gif How annoying. It's almost as annoying as Myspace.

What was Facebook for again? I know I heard of it. I just never seen anyone use it.

Mona, you should email Facebook's support staff. I'd be willing to bet they can fix that up for you.

I was so excited when I got my college email and Facebook. It got less exciting after one of the teachers at college emailed all 900 and something of the freshman and people realized they could introduce themselves to the other freshman by copying everyone's email. _dry.gif We now get about 20 emails everyday from random freshman.

That's hella crazy!
Mona Lisa is your name, and i think that for any website to not approve certain name is just plain wack.Like other people suggested; you should contact the site's support staff.
On another note;; facebook never really caught my interest; even though my friends told me i should get one! haha yeea i agree that myspace can get annoying. blink.gif

college facebook (you know, real facebook) > hs facebook > myspace.

a hell of a lot more secure means a lot less creepy child predators and unlimited photo albums. i agree with seon ho's implication.

I agree with you. I never really used HS Facebook, but now that I have college facebook, I'm on everyday. And, it's a great way to keep in touch with people, etc.

But yeah, they're both better than myspace.

I just started using hs facebook..since I'm an incoming frosh. But i prefer it over myspace..idk I guess it just annoys me when you go to people's sites and there are sparkling stuff in their backgrounds and a ton of uneccessary graphics. I guess facebook is just much more organized

People's facebook pages don't horrify me. Or screw up my music. If I have the speakers on, I'm listening to something. I don't want to have to turn mine off and be forced to listen to whatever shit's on your myspace.

Well I'd see why you wouldn't be able to enter your name in because I could say my name is Britney Spears and that would be just as annoying as myspace.

I like facebook better than myspace because we don't have people who call themselves "Miss Murder" and you have to put your real name in. It's less fake that way. I just don't know a lot of people who have facebook so whatever.
